Weddings
Every table. Every angle.
Put a QR card on every table and give your guests a camera on their own phone. Nobody sees a thing until the reveal. Set it for brunch the next day and wake up to the whole wedding, from every seat in the room.

Why sealed works for weddings
The day you didn’t get to see.
- 01
The moments you were too busy for
Your grandparents on the dance floor. The kids’ table at full volume. Your best friend’s face during the speeches. You were there, but you were busy being the bride or groom.
- 02
Guests who stay in the room
No previews and no retakes means nobody hunched over a phone fixing a photo. They take it, it’s sealed, and they’re back on the dance floor.
- 03
An album nobody edited first
You can’t look early, and neither can anyone else, so every guest knows their photos made it into the album. It’s the wedding as it really happened.
How the day goes
From first look to brunch.
You pick every time when you set up the event: when the camera opens, when it closes, and when everyone sees the photos. Here’s one way a wedding day can run.
- Guests find a card on their tableThey scan the QR code, type their name, and the camera opens in their browser.
- Every photo seals the moment it’s takenNobody sees a thing. Not your guests, not the person who took it, and not you.
- The camera closes on timeRight when you said it would. Anything still sending finishes on its own once there’s signal.
- Everyone sees everything, at onceThe whole album opens for every guest at the same moment. Brunch just got a lot louder.

Wedding sizes come with the iPhone app, which is coming soon. Today, anyone can run a free event for up to 10 guests right in a web browser, which is a perfect way to try it at the rehearsal dinner. Planning a bigger wedding before the app is out? Write to hello@thischapter.app and we’ll help.
Wedding questions
Asked by couples.
More on the main questions page, or write to hello@thischapter.app.
Does this replace our photographer?
No. Your photographer gets the portraits and the big moments. Your guests get everything else: the back of the room, the late-night dance floor, the bits nobody planned.
Will older guests manage it?
If they can point their phone camera at a QR code, they can take photos. There’s no app, no account and no email address. They type a name, and the camera opens.
What if the venue has bad signal?
Guests need signal once, to join. After that, photos wait on their phone and send on their own when the signal comes back. Just make sure they use a normal browser tab, not a private one.
How long do we have the photos?
We keep them for 365 days after the reveal. You can save every photo in one go any time before that and keep them forever, wherever you like.
Can we look through the photos before our guests do?
No. That’s the point: nobody can look early, including you. After the reveal you can take down any photo you’d rather not keep in the album.
